Indigo is looking to connect the city of Dar Es Salaam from Mumbai by direct flight. This flight operation is scheduled to start from November 20. Dar Es Salaam is the largest city in Tanzania while after an operating flight from Air Tanzania this would be second direct flight from Mumbai to the country. This would be a non stop flight and would take around 5 hours in the journey.

The flight would be round trip and depart from Mumbai at 02:20 am while it would reach Dar Es Salaam 06:05 am. This flight will start round journey starting 07:05 am and reach Mumbai at 03:55 pm. The flight number for this route is planned to be Indigo 6E 1851. The trip prices are from Rs 6000 for journey from Mumbai while for the return trip it is fixed at Rs 47000. Bookings have now been opened for the route by Indigo.

Tanzania mostly known for the Serengeti and the Mt. Kilimanjaro can expect good amount of tourists from Mumbai and India.
