Tata is launching the next new big 3 row family SUV EV which they called Tata Safari EV. This is engineered over the Harrier EV and is a heavy model for the buyers providing comfort with elegance. Built on heavily reengineered acti.ev+ platform architecture that also underpins the Harrier EV. The Tata Safari EV will provide familiar road experience with emission free performance.

Dual-Motor All Wheel Drive: Similar to Harrier EV and Sierra EV, the upcoming Tata Safari EV will come with both single motor (FWD) and dual motor (AWD) configurations.

Real World Ranges: It is expected to be covered with the same 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs which are available with Harrier EV. The company will be targetting a real world driving range of around 500 km with single charging.

Premium Tech: It will come with a triple screen layout comprising a 12.3 inch central touchscreen infotainment, 10.25 inch digital instrument console and a dedicated 12.3 inch co-occupant entermainment screen. Some of the key features include level 2 ADAS, gesture controlled powered tailgate, ventilated and powered front seats, ventilated second row captains seats and vehicle to load (V2L) / vehicle to vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities.

Expected Launch and Price: This is expected to launch in late 2026 around October - November. While we can expect this to somewhere cost between Rs 22 Lakhs - Rs 32 Lakhs.
